Joe Toomey

Joe Toomey is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in training and standards management. Currently serving as the Director of Training and Standards Captain at Clay Lacy Aviation since May 2022, Joe Toomey is responsible for oversight of the Gulfstream GV Series. Joe Toomey has extensive military experience, holding positions such as Senior Enlisted Reserve Advisor and Training Petty Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve since May 2013, contributing to various operations including Operation Enduring Freedom. Joe Toomey’s prior roles include Manager of Training & Standards, Line Check Pilot, and Captain at Wheels Up Private Jets, as well as Airline Captain at Cape Air. Educationally, Joe Toomey holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Kent State University.
