Emil Popov

Emil Popov is a seasoned construction executive with extensive experience in project management, preconstruction, and design in the healthcare and commercial sectors. Currently serving as Vice President for the Pacific Region at Clayco since April 2022, Emil previously held the position of Design Manager at HENSEL PHELPS and managed preconstruction and project management roles at DPR Construction and McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. Emil's leadership in significant projects includes a 400,000 square foot healthcare campus and a million square foot office and research campus. Additionally, Emil has military experience as a Space Operations Officer with the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard, and as an Army Aviator, completing a deployment to Afghanistan. Emil holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
