Wayee Chu

Wayee Chu is a seasoned professional in the venture capital and education technology sectors, currently serving as a GP Advisor at Screendoor since May 2024 and as a General Partner at Reach Capital since April 2015. Wayee holds multiple board roles, including Board Member at Clayful and Yay Lunch, Board Observer at Swing Education, and Impact Advisory Board Member at Handshake. Wayee's investment experience includes being an Angel Investor at Broadway Angels and a Founding Member of All Raise, along with significant involvement in governance as a member of the Board of Trustees for SFMOMA and on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan. Wayee earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Michigan, completing the degree in May 1997.
