Danita Hamid

Danita Hamid is an experienced professional with a background in grants analysis and economic development project management. Currently serving as a Grants Analyst for the Clayton County Board of Commissioners since April 2023, Danita previously held the position of Economic Development Project Manager at the City of Forest Park from March 2020 to March 2023, where responsibilities included research, project coordination, and budget reporting. Danita also taught public speaking courses at Clayton State University and managed office operations at Home City Ice. Additional roles include serving as a Writing Consultant at Eastern Michigan University's Writing Center and as a Customer Service Representative for SchoolPictures.Com. Danita holds a Master’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, both obtained from Eastern Michigan University.
