Alex Houlton

Alex Houlton has held a variety of roles in the Human Resources field. In 2017, they began working at Clayton & Crume as the Human Resources Director, where they were responsible for overseeing the HR functions of the administrative team and was involved in sales at trade shows, retail events, and activations. Alex also worked seasonally in college during winter holiday breaks crafting high-quality handmade leather goods and selling these products in the Cincinnati, Nashville, and Louisville areas. In 2018, they worked at The Middleby Corporation's international corporate headquarters in Elgin, IL, as a Human Resources Intern. During this internship, they developed many valuable skills, including recording employee payroll information, assisting with presentations about changes to 401(k) plans, and creating various job descriptions and a Document Retention Policy.

Alex Houlton began their educational journey at South Oldham High School from 2011 to 2015. Alex then attended Harlaxton College in 2016 before enrolling at Western Kentucky University, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Services in 2019.
