Daina Richmond

Daina Richmond is a special counsel in our Construction and Major Projects practice.

Daina has extensive experience in government procurements and contracting and private sector financed infrastructure projects. Over the last few years, Daina's work has focused on public procurements of infrastructure, facilities and equipment for the Commonwealth, Victorian and NSW Governments.

Daina has acted mainly for government in the drafting of tender documentation, evaluation of tenders and drafting and negotiation of contractual documents. She advises government on issues specific to government, including in respect of relevant legislation, statutory powers and functions and administrative and public law. Daina's experience includes acting for government on projects that involve multiple government and private sector stakeholders and she also assists with contract management in complex procurements.

Since 2003, Daina has also been involved with our Community Involvement program and the Clayton Utz Foundation. Daina was responsible for the design, establishment and operation of these initiatives and provides ongoing strategic advice.
