Robert Owen

Robert Owen is an accomplished IT professional and musician with extensive experience in systems and infrastructure management. Since August 2010, Robert has held various leadership roles at Clayton Homes, currently serving as the Director of Systems, Infrastructure & Cloud, overseeing the administration of over 400 public websites utilizing Windows Server 2012 R2 and IIS 8. In addition to technical expertise, Robert is an active musician, performing as 2nd Horn with The Symphony of the Mountains since July 2013 and previously as Co-Principal Horn with the Oak Ridge Symphony from September 2010 to August 2017. Robert's musical journey also includes roles as a French Hornist for the KnoX Brass WorX Quintet and performing as 4th Horn with The Symphony of the Mountains in earlier years. An alumnus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Robert earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance with a focus on the Horn, complementing a strong background in IT support and consulting from previous positions in the industry.
