Tomas Green

Tomas Green is currently serving as the Government Affairs Manager at the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) since November 2025. Previously, Green held various roles at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), including Chief of Staff for Sustainable Transport within the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), where responsibilities included coordinating significant R&D funding and infrastructure investments to support transportation decarbonization. Green's experience includes developing a strategic plan for DOE’s industrial portfolio and managing public-private partnerships. Additional roles include serving as a CELI Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute, a Policy Analyst at the Energy Futures Initiative, and a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT's Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research. Green holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Kansas.
