Derek Turbide

Derek Turbide has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Derek started as a Regional Manager at Green Mountain Energy Company in 2000 and then moved on to become the Executive Director at I Love A Clean San Diego in 2001. In this role, Derek led and inspired the community to actively conserve and enhance the environment. In 2006, they joined Clean Energy Fuels as the Vice President of Business Development - Trucking. In this position, Derek played a crucial role in the development and delivery of renewable natural gas, working towards decarbonizing transportation.

Derek Turbide pursued their Bachelor's degree from 1995 to 2000 at the University of Rhode Island with a focus on Marine Affairs & International Development. Derek furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from National University, spanning from 2003 to 2005. Before their undergraduate studies, Derek attended Newburyport High School, although the specific duration is unknown.
