Alexander M. Ratner

Alexander M. Ratner, Esq. is currently the Senior Federal Policy Counsel at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), where responsibilities include leading federal policy relations and developing advocacy strategies. Alexander also serves as the Fellowship Coordinator for the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and was previously a fellow in the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Policy Manager at the Alliance to Save Energy and as a Policy Analyst and Counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives, where contributions involved legislative preparation and development of economic proposals. Alexander's earlier roles include legislative consulting for the Maryland Department of Planning and positions with various organizations during the Obama campaign. Alexander holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law and a BA in Political Science from The George Washington University.
