Joseph Beer

Joseph Beer currently serves as the VP of Product Management and Customer Success at Clean Power Research, leading over 30 team members in product management and customer organizations while driving product strategy and innovation in the energy and clean tech sector. Prior to this role, Joseph was the President of JBeer Energy Advisory Services, focusing on advisory services in smart grid and renewable energy. As a founding member of the Power and Utilities vertical leadership team at Amazon Web Services, Joseph played a key role in solution strategy and business development. Earlier experiences include serving as CTO at Puget Sound Energy and various leadership positions at Washington Mutual, Corbis, EY, and Mosaix/Avaya. Joseph holds an MBA in Information Technology Management from USC Marshall School of Business and a BS in Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles.
