Catherine Phillips

Catherine Phillips is an experienced professional in management and leadership roles within the waste management and sports industries. Currently serving as Regional Manager for the Container Deposit Scheme in Victoria and Tasmania at Cleanaway Waste Management, and as Commercial Manager for Organics, Catherine is also active in sports governance as a member of the Athlete’s Commission for The World Games and the AFL Players' Association as a Director. Catherine held prior positions as a professional football player with Essendon Football Club and St Kilda Football Club, and as a Commercial Advisor at Origin Energy. With a solid educational background, including a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, along with a Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Catherine combines technical expertise with extensive experience in commercial operations and stakeholder engagement.
