Mark McDonnell

Mark McDonnell is a seasoned human resources professional with extensive experience across various sectors including waste management, education, and construction. Currently serving as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Cleanaway Waste Management since August 2023, Mark previously held senior HR positions at the University of the Sunshine Coast, DECMIL, CPB Contractors, and Downer, among others. Through a career spanning over 15 years, Mark has demonstrated expertise in industrial relations, strategic HR management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement, and has led teams in developing effective HR frameworks and processes. Mark holds a Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management from Queensland University of Technology and diplomas in Business and Human Resource Management from Moreton Institute of TAFE.
