Deborah Cruz

Deborah Cruz has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Marketing Director for Community Solar at CleanChoice Energy since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Grit Collaborative, a full-service marketing agency that specialized in strategy, design, development, and branding, with a focus on analytics, data, and technology. Deborah also served as the Director of Marketing at the Specialty Food Association from 2017 to 2019, where they led major organizational transformations and modernized marketing and branding strategies. Before that, they worked at McGraw-Hill Education as the Senior Digital Marketing Manager from 2008 to 2017. Deborah's earlier experience includes working as a Publishing Sales Representative at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from 2001 to 2008.

Deborah Cruz has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English from Boston College. Deborah also obtained the Google Cloud Introduction to Generative AI certification from Google Cloud Skills Boost in 2023.
