Bjorn van de Ven

Research Department Lead at Cleantron cleantech batteries

Bjorn van de Ven is a highly experienced professional in the field of battery technology and automotive engineering. Currently serving as the Research Department Lead and Applied Battery Scientist at Cleantron cleantech batteries since November 2018, Bjorn focuses on advanced battery management problems and the development of state-of-the-art battery concepts and algorithms. In addition to these roles, Bjorn is a PhD candidate at Eindhoven University of Technology, engaged in a joint research project centered on the state estimation and health monitoring of battery packs. Previous experience includes positions as an Allround Content Management Assistant and a Visiting Graduate Student at the University of Toronto, along with various academic roles at Eindhoven University of Technology. Bjorn holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, as well as a VWO diploma in Nature & Technology from Mondriaan College Oss.
