Dr. Lurian Klein

Dr. Lurian Klein has worked for multiple companies in various roles. In 2018, they joined Effisumer as the Chief Innovation Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Cleanwatts starting in 2016 as a Senior Innovation Developer. In 2014, Dr. Klein was the Operations Director at Movimento 90° until January 2015.

Dr. Lurian Klein's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Universidade Estadual de Maringá and pursued a Bachelor of Civil Engineering. Dr. Lurian completed their degree in 2014. In 2013, Dr. Klein participated in a Study Abroad Program at the University of Melbourne, where they focused on the field of Environment.

Following their bachelor's degree, Dr. Klein joined Universidade de Coimbra in 2015 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sustainable Energy Systems through the MIT Portugal Programme. Dr. Lurian completed their PhD in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Klein obtained two certifications. In November 2015, they completed the Capacity Building Programme in Renewable Energy offered by UNIDO. In May 2013, they obtained a certification in Introduction to the Living Building Challenge 2.0 from the International Living Future Institute.
