Angelique X. Irvin

Angelique has over three decades of managing fast-growing complex technology businesses. Her career spans research, technology commercialization, and high-volume manufacturing at AT&T, NEC, Coviant, and Clear Align. As a founder of Clear Align, she leads a team that delivers AI & network-enabled electro-optic systems serving space, aerospace, defense, and life science markets. Clear Align delivers sensor systems with embedded intelligence to accelerate response time and decision making. The company’s solutions provide advanced free-space communications and imaging for demanding ground and satellite applications and sensors that enable high-mobility missions for dismounted warfighters in complex terrain.

Angelique led five acquisitions and their successful integration, including the acquisition of General Dynamics Mission Systems Operation in Nashua NH, formerly Axsys Technologies. Her strategies launched consistent double and triple-digit growth for over a decade. Under her leadership, Clear Align has been awarded multiple patents and earned a multitude of growth and technology awards including the Inc. 500™, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, and the SBA Minority Entrepreneur of the Year.

Angelique is a technologist and led innovative product launches at AT&T Bell Laboratories including the LiNbO3 optical modulation technology commercialization that grew to a $500 million business in five years. During her tenure at Bell Laboratories, she reported to the Board of Directors leading technology commercialization strategies for fundamental innovation that set the stage for much of the technology they use today.

As a public speaker, she is a passionate advocate for technology innovation and small businesses in the United States; She has testified as an expert to the US Congress on both topics. Irvin graduated with honors from Alfred University, with a bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering, and earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Finance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship.
