Valerie Gaerlan

Valerie Gaerlan has a diverse work experience in visual design and learning experience design. Valerie is currently working as a Sr. Visual Designer at Clear Digital since March 2020, and prior to that, they had their own design firm called Valerie Gaerlan Design starting from December 2016.

Valerie also worked at sweetgreen as a Learning Experience Designer from June 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they worked at Clear Digital as a Lead Designer from December 2015 to February 2019, and as a Designer from February 2013 to December 2015.

Valerie's earlier work experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at San Jose State University. Valerie worked at the MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center from January 2008 to December 2012, and at the Student Health Center from August 2009 to September 2010.

Valerie Gaerlan pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from San Jose State University. Valerie also attended Independence High School for their secondary education. In addition, Valerie obtained a certification in Leading for Creativity from IDEO U in September 2018.
