Emilio Schapira

Emilio Schapira has a diverse and extensive work experience. Emilio is currently the VP of Engineering - Clearing and Platforms at Clear Street since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Eng Lead - Clearing and Infrastructure at Clear Street from November 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Clear Street, Emilio served as the Ads & Monetization Engineering Lead at Waze from June 2019 to October 2021. Emilio also worked at Google as a Software Engineer from June 2009 to October 2021.

Emilio's earlier experience includes Chief Software Architect at VideoMining Corporation from October 2005 to June 2009, as well as Senior Software Developer & Founding Member at VideoMining Corporation from March 2000 to September 2006.

Emilio started their career as the Director R&D at Merlin Interactive Systems from 1994 to 1999.
