Gerald Ouellette

Gerald Ouellette, P. Geo., MEERL, is an experienced professional in the fields of carbon markets and geological sciences. Since July 2023, Gerald has served as the Director of Offset Advisory at ClearBlue Markets, focusing on corporate offset strategies and evaluation of carbon credit opportunities. Previously, as the Manager of Energy Innovation at Verra, Gerald developed innovative standards for greenhouse gas emissions quantification and led methodologies for energy transition and carbon capture projects. Prior experience with the Government of Alberta includes roles such as Geologist, where Gerald advanced carbon capture and storage policy and geological mapping, and Groundwater Policy Specialist, contributing to the Lower Athabasca Regional Plan. Gerald holds a Master’s in Earth and Energy Resources Leadership from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Alberta.
