Shalini Kurapati, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2019, they co-founded and became the CEO of Clearbox AI Solutions, where they focus on utilizing AI technologies to improve businesses and society. At Clearbox AI Solutions, Shalini's main role is to develop and implement their data-centric MLOps solution powered by generative models.

In addition to their role at Clearbox AI Solutions, Shalini also works as an Instructor at DataCamp starting in 2022. Prior to these roles, Shalini worked as an Open Science and Research Data Management Fellow at Politecnico di Torino from 2019 to 2022, where they focused on research data management practices.

Before joining Politecnico di Torino, Shalini worked as a Data Steward at TU Delft | Technology, Policy and Managememt from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they supported researchers by providing resources and support on effective data management practices.

Shalini also co-founded and served as a Managing Partner at Stocastica AI Consulting from 2018 to 2019, where they oversaw business operations and developed strategies in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for the company's consulting assignments.

Prior to their roles in consulting and academia, Shalini worked as a Researcher at Delft University of Technology. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a post-doctoral researcher, studying the role of Situation Awareness in multi-stakeholder sociotechnical systems. Shalini also worked as a PhD Researcher from 2011 to 2016, focusing on the design and development of simulation games to study complex sociotechnical systems such as supply chain and logistics networks.

Shalini's early work experience includes a graduate internship at Volvo Construction Equipment in 2011, and roles as a freelance contributor for The Times of India from 2008 to 2011, where they also served as a member of the College Editorial Board for 'Education Times', focusing on higher education and career advice. Shalini also worked as a Summer In-plant Trainee at Hyundai Motor India Ltd in 2007.

Shalini Kurapati, PhD holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Technology, Policy and Management, which they received from Delft University of Technology. Shalini completed their PhD program from 2012 to 2017. Prior to their doctoral studies, they attained a Master of Science degree in Engineering and Policy Analysis from the same institution, Delft University of Technology, between 2009 and 2011. Before pursuing their master's degree, Shalini completed their undergraduate education at the College of Engineering, Guindy, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2005 to 2009.

In addition to their extensive educational background, Shalini Kurapati has obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals. Shalini received this certification in November 2018.
