Benedict Buckley, CFA has diverse work experience in the environmental and sustainability field. Benedict started their career as a Research Volunteer at Forum for the Future, conducting web-based research surveys and writing reports on sustainable development issues. Benedict then worked as a Researcher at Lion Television and as Client Services Assistant at MadHouse, Inc. In 2003, Benedict volunteered at Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, leading a team to monitor endangered Rothschild giraffes and producing a comprehensive report on their impact.

In 2009, Benedict joined Trucost as a Research Analyst, specializing in analyzing the environmental impacts of listed companies and managing supply chain environmental footprint projects. Benedict later became a Senior Research Analyst, where they conducted research projects on the environmental impacts of company supply chains and investment portfolios. Benedict also worked on projects in partnership with PUMA and Vestas Wind Systems.

In 2011, Benedict became a Research Associate at World Resources Institute, where they developed guidance for the financial sector on assessing emissions associated with investing and lending activities. Benedict Buckley, CFA completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology from The University of Manchester in the years 2003 to 2006. Benedict then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London between 2009 and 2010. In October 2017, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute, as well as the Series 7 certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
