Svetlana Milina

Svetlana Milina has extensive experience in the field of investment management and legal counsel. Svetlana is currently serving as the Director and Deputy General Counsel at ClearBridge Investments since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney as an Executive Director, providing legal counsel for their investment management and investment advisory services to institutional and retail investors. Svetlana also has experience as a Vice President and Legal Counsel at Barclays Wealth, where they oversaw the legal and regulatory aspects of hedge funds, private equity funds, and other investment programs. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Investment Management and Corporate Associate at Kaye Scholer LLP, representing investment advisers and fund sponsors in various legal matters.

Svetlana Milina pursued their education from 1996 to 2003. Svetlana completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance and International Business with Magna Cum Laude distinction from NYU Stern School of Business in 2000. Subsequently, they enrolled in Cardozo School of Law and obtained their Juris Doctor degree, graduating Cum Laude and earning the prestigious Order of the Coif distinction, in 2003.
