Derek Wilson

Derek Wilson is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Founder Success at Clearco since May 2021, where responsibilities include building the ClearAngel product to automate angel investments for early-stage founders. Previously, Derek was a volunteer at COSMIC Medical and spent over seven years at OneLocal, culminating as the Director of Sales, where efforts focused on helping small and medium-sized businesses consolidate marketing needs. Prior roles include Group Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive, among others, at OneLocal, as well as teaching assistant responsibilities at the University of Toronto. Derek also held the position of Vice President of Finance for the University of Toronto Mississauga Athletic Council and worked as a Personal Banking Officer at Scotiabank. Derek holds a Bachelor of Commerce with High Distinction from the University of Toronto, specializing in Finance, alongside a major in Economics and a minor in Psychology.
