Marcelo Castro

Marcelo Castro is an accomplished software engineering professional with extensive experience leading development teams and architecting innovative solutions across various industries. Currently serving as Lead Architect at ClearGage, Inc. since August 2017, Marcelo has successfully driven the creation of a healthcare payments platform that serves over 80,000 users. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, where leadership of a nine-member team enhanced development standards, and significant contributions at Citi, which involved system analysis for budget management across numerous branches. Marcelo also co-founded Veezit Lab, focusing on mobile application development, and held senior engineering positions at Banco Votorantim, Ozonion, and Politec, demonstrating a strong progression in software engineering competencies since beginning a career in 1996. Marcelo holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Processing from Asper Faculty.
