Thomas J. Pier Lcsw, Osw-C, Cmf

Thomas J. Pier, LCSW, OSW-C, CMF, is a seasoned clinical social worker with extensive experience in grief therapy, mindfulness, and psychosocial oncology. As the lead therapist and owner/operator of Thomas J. Pier Therapy since August 1995, Thomas focuses on building warm relationships to facilitate growth and healing for individuals and their families. In addition to private practice, Thomas serves as an ovarian cancer counselor with Clearity and facilitates cancer support groups at the Cancer Support Community Los Angeles. Thomas has also contributed to education as an adjunct lecturer and field instructor at USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and has held roles at Simms/Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology. Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from New Mexico State University, along with certificates in Mindfulness Facilitation and Healthcare Ethics.
