Maryam Nabiyouni, PhD has a diverse work experience. Maryam began their career in 2006 as a Research Assistant at The University of Arizona. Maryam then continued their academic career by obtaining their PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toledo in 2011. In 2015, they joined Progenity, Inc. as a Scientist, where they developed high-throughput molecular diagnostic and carrier screening assays using various techniques. In 2018, they moved on to Encodia, Inc. as a Scientist, and in 2020 they joined ClearNote Health (formerly Bluestar Genomics) as an Automation Scientist and later as a Senior Automation Scientist.
Maryam Nabiyouni, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toledo College of Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Maryam then earned their Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Toledo College of Medicine from 2009 to 2011. Maryam Nabiyouni, PhD also obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Arizona from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Engineering and Natural Resources from Isfahan University of Technology from 2000 to 2004.
