Selena Tan has been serving as an Executive and Career Coach since 2011 at O Positive Coaching & HR Services, LLC. Selena joined ClearRock, Inc. in 2013 as a Sr. Career Consultant and Executive Coach. Prior to their coaching roles, Selena held various positions including Vice President, Administration at The Coyle Company from 2007 to 2011 and Interim Human Resources Manager at Oxfam America in 2007. Selena also worked as a Manager in the Faculty Assistant Program at Harvard Kennedy School from 2004 to 2007 and as a Group Manager in the Northeast Region at Systems Engineering & Security, Inc. from 2000 to 2003.

Selena Tan, an Executive and Career Coach, obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art from Williams College, completing their undergraduate education from 1985 to 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Selena Tan has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their coaching skills. In 2021, they received their certification as a Global Leadership Profile Coach/Action Inquiry from Global Leadership Associates. In 2019, they obtained certification in EQ-i 2.0/EQ-i 360 from Multi-Health Systems Inc., and in 2015, they became a CRG Licensed Associate for the Personal Style Indicator (PSI) through Consulting Resource Group International, Inc. In 2011, Selena earned the designation of Board Certified Coach (BCC) with an Executive Coach Designation from the Center for Credentialing & Education. Selena also achieved certification as a Predictive Index Analyst from The Predictive Index in 2007. Furthermore, Selena holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, which was obtained in 2006. Lastly, they became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in 2016, certified by SHRM. In 2019, Selena also became a PI Certified Talent Optimization Consultant through Talent Optimization by The Predictive Index.
