Mercedes Amans is a seasoned professional in product development with extensive experience in the skincare and cosmetics industries. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at CLEARSTEM Skincare, Mercedes previously held the position of Associate Director of New Product Development at Amyris, where responsibilities included overseeing innovation and sustainability initiatives for multiple brands. Prior roles include Product Development Manager at Kinship and Product Innovation Manager at Youth To The People, where Mercedes managed product timelines and formulation processes. Earlier experience encompasses roles as Research and Development Manager at Sun Deep Inc, Spa and Salon Supervisor at Beau Rivage, and Manager of Marine Microbiology at The University of Southern Mississippi. Mercedes holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Western Illinois University.
