Nicolas Godfrey

Nicolas Godfrey is an accomplished professional in the field of tax services and finance, currently serving as the Head of Product Management & Development for Tax Services at Clearstream since September 2020. Prior to this role, Nicolas held positions at Deloitte as Manager of International Tax, and at the International Capital Market Services Association as Chairman of the Global Tax Subcommittee. Additionally, Nicolas served as a committee member of the Future Leaders Committee at the International Capital Market Association and held various key roles at Clearstream, including Product Manager and Head of Tax Lab. Nicolas has a diversified background with entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Managing Partner of Peer Advisory, and has worked in project management and business analysis with BNP Paribas and ENGIE. Education includes an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland and a CFA designation from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, along with certifications in capital markets. An early academic foundation was laid with a Master’s degree in Economics from Université catholique de Louvain.
