Corey Clifton

Corey Clifton is a Senior Product Designer at ClearSummit. Corey has also worked as a UX Designer at DoD Platform One from March 2021 to December 2021. As a UX Designer, they were responsible for product feature discovery and creation & interface design for internal dashboards and web design for the company website while utilizing the design system as a framework. Corey also led the design for the company's new Survival Guide - a high level overview of all products, procedures, and how they relate to each other. This was a full design life cycle from discovery to high-fidelity deliverables with ongoing iterations to the 60 page interactive pdf created in InDesign. In addition, they were responsible for continually improving the employee onboarding experience through qualitative and quantitative research. Corey also interacted with cross functional teams and product team on a daily basis (Agile/Scrum/Jira). Corey was also responsible for visual design - creating visual and infographic designs that relate how their Value Streams and Teams interact and depend on each other. Corey was also responsible for service design - improving their services by communicating with and discovering their customers/users needs and pain points. Lastly, they were also responsible for logo design - for internal teams with the intention of relating to the story behind what those teams stand for. Corey also provided mentorship - guiding their design interns/residents through onboarding + coaching and giving feedback when applicable.
