Martin Ackermann

Martin Ackermann is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the maritime and gas industries. Currently serving as Chairperson and Co-founder of ClearVoyage since August 2020, Ackermann focuses on digitization and advanced analytics to enhance voyage management systems. A Board Member at MTI Investment and Zoios, contributions include fostering SME growth in East Africa and addressing people and culture challenges. Previously, as Chief Commercial Officer at Synergy Marine Group, Ackermann prioritized customer engagement and sustainability. Ackermann held significant roles at BW LPG and Evergas, leading both companies as CEO and establishing a strong presence in LPG and ethane transportation. Education includes advanced management studies at INSEAD and various certifications in maritime management.
