Josef Sommeregger

Josef Sommeregger is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as Region Head and a member of the Executive Management Team at Clearwater Analytics since January 2023, Josef oversees investment portfolio accounting and reporting services for institutional clients. Prior to this role, Josef was Managing Director at SimCorp from August 2019 to January 2023, where responsibilities included executing strategies for Data and Communications offerings. Additionally, Josef was Managing Director of SimCorp GAIN and played a significant role in integrating the company into SimCorp's operational framework. Josef's earlier experience includes over 15 years at AIM Software, culminating in leadership roles as General Manager, Co-CEO, and Co-Founder, achieving significant growth and expansion into various markets. Josef's career began with a consultancy position at Vienna Stock Exchange Consulting in 2004. Josef holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
