Onno de Groot

Onno de Groot is a seasoned professional in corporate finance, currently serving as Partner Corporate Finance - M&A at Clearwater since October 2023. Previously, Onno spent 16 years at PwC Nederland, culminating in the role of Director Corporate Finance - M&A, where expertise was developed in both domestic and cross-border mid-market transactions. A brief secondment in 2016 at PwC UK involved focusing on M&A transactions in the Retail, Consumer & Leisure sectors. In addition, a 2011 secondment at FrieslandCampina allowed for significant contributions to corporate strategy and M&A projects. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Finance (with honours) and a BSc in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, supplemented by specialized training in financial modeling and corporate finance.
