Michael S. Gadd

Michael S. Gadd is the current Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Clearwater Paper. Michael has held this position since December of 2008. Prior to joining Clearwater Paper, Mr. Gadd was with Potlatch Corporation from March of 2006 to December of 2008 where they served as Corporate Secretary and Associate General Counsel.

Mr. Gadd began their legal career in 1990 as a Litigation Attorney with LeBoeuf Lamb Leiby & MacRae. Michael then worked as a Litigation Attorney with Ater Wynne LLP from 1994 to 1995 before transitioning to a Corporate/Securities Attorney with the same firm from 1998 to 2000. After two years with Ater Wynne LLP, Mr. Gadd spent six years as a Corporate/Securities Attorney with Perkins Coie LLP from 2001 to 2006 before joining Potlatch Corporation.

Michael S. Gadd earned their MBA from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Michael also participated in an exchange program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Michael went on to earn their J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and their B.A. in English from the University of South Carolina. Michael also participated in an exchange program at the University of Kent.

They work with Steve Bowden - Senior Vice President, General Manager – Pulp and Paperboard, Kari Moyes - Senior Vice President, Human Resources, and Michael J. Murphy - SVP and CFO. Michael S. Gadd reports to Arsen S. Kitch, CEO and Board Member.
