Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson is an accomplished marketing professional with extensive experience in communication and public relations. Currently serving as Marketing Manager at Clearwater Seafoods LP since May 2015, Emily has previously held the role of Assistant Marketing Manager at the same company. Prior to this, Emily contributed to the Halifax & Region Military Family Resource Centre in Communication Services from January 2009 to May 2015. Emily began the career as a Public Relations Assistant at Halifax Harbour Bridges from January 2007 to December 2008 and gained additional experience as a Communications Officer at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in late 2007. Emily's foundational experience in corporate affairs began with a co-op position at Clearwater Seafoods LP in 2006. Emily holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University, awarded in 2008.
