Rob Weir has over 18 years of experience in human resources. Rob'smost recent position was as the Director of Human Resources at the Clearway Group of Companies, a role they began in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal at Simple HR Solutions starting in September 2012. Rob also held the position of Human Resources Director at the Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club from January 2022 to November 2022. Other notable roles include Director of Human Resources Business Partners at Chemtrade from March 2019 to September 2021, Director of Human Resources at Tempur Sealy International from November 2015 to March 2019, and Director of Human Resources and Administration at ILLUMITI from January 2013 to October 2015. Throughout their career, they also worked at Rogers Communications, Barrick Gold Corporation, Macquarie Financial Ltd., and Kohl & Frisch Ltd. in various human resources roles.
Rob Weir has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Humber College, which they obtained from 2000 to 2001. Rob also has a Hons. BA in Labour Studies & Political Science from McMaster University, which they pursued from 1996 to 2000.
