Timothy Grijalva has a diverse work history with experience in various fields. Timothy started their career in the United States Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialist from August 2001 to February 2007. Following their military service, they worked as a Retail Sales Consultant at AT&T Mobility from February 2007 to August 2008. Timothy then transitioned to education, working as a Math Teacher at Fort Worth ISD from August 2008 to September 2012, and later at Crowley ISD from September 2012 to July 2016. During their time at Crowley ISD, they also took on the role of Instructional Technologist from June 2013 to July 2016. In 2015, they founded TechTims Innovations where they served as President, providing secure locking and charging solutions for schools and companies. Currently, they work as the Director of Instructional Technology at Cleburne ISD, a position they have held since July 2016, overseeing the district's technology initiatives and educational programs.
Timothy Grijalva obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Sciences from the University of Maryland Global Campus in the years 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued higher education and completed a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree, specializing in Educational Evaluation and Research, at Grand Canyon University from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they furthered their studies at The University of Texas at Arlington, where they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from 2011 to 2013.
