Mindora "Mindi" Purgason is an experienced Certified Ophthalmic Assistant currently working at Clemson Eye since August 2022. With a career beginning in 1994, Mindi has held various positions in the ophthalmology field, including a significant tenure at Prisma Health's Eye Institute from April 2013 to August 2022. Previous roles include serving as an Ophthalmic Assistant at Greenville Health System and CAROLINA VISION ASSOCIATES, as well as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician/Office Manager at Spartanburg Vision West. Mindi also has diverse experience in customer service, having worked for CoxCustom Media/Resident Update and PrintSource, Inc., among others. Mindi earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina Upstate between 1990 and 1994.
