April O'Brien

April O'Brien is an Assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University since August 2019 and has served as a Graduate Teacher of Record at Clemson University since August 2015. In addition to teaching, April O'Brien worked as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Southeast SECURE NSF Grant from July 2017 to June 2018, focusing on cybersecurity awareness for NSF-supported researchers. Previous academic roles include Lecturer and Graduate Assistant at Buffalo State College. April O'Brien holds a PhD in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design from Clemson University, as well as an M.A. in English from Buffalo State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Grove City College.
