David Blakesley

David Blakesley is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of English and technical communication, currently serving as President of the Faculty Senate at Clemson University since August 2010, where leadership in shared governance initiatives has been a primary focus. Blakesley has held various prominent positions, including Interim Director of Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design for the PhD program and Campbell Chair in Technical Communication, while also leading Parlor Press since its founding in 2002 as President and CEO, emphasizing high-quality publishing standards.
