Julian Brinkley, Ph.D., currently serves as the Dean's Associate Professor of Human-Centered Computing at Clemson University since December 2014, where responsibilities include leading an Agile team in the redesign and development of the USDA’s national research portfolio management system, NIMSS. As Chief Executive Officer of Daedalus Cybernetics Inc., Julian focuses on creating inclusive AI-driven solutions for individuals with diverse abilities. Previous experience includes roles as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Santa Fe College, Human-Centered Computing Graduate Researcher at the University of Florida, and User Experience Researcher at Harris Corporation, among others, demonstrating a strong background in user research, software development, and education. Julian's academic credentials include a PhD in Human-Centered Computing from the University of Florida and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Clemson University.
