Kristen Duncan

Kristen Duncan, PhD, is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in teacher education. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Clemson University since June 2018, Kristen has previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Texas State University from August 2016 to May 2018 and worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Georgia from October 2007 to May 2016. In addition to teaching pre-service teacher education courses and supervising student teachers, Kristen has provided academic support as a tutor for University of Georgia athletes and has significant experience in K-12 education as a teacher in the Clarke County School District and DeKalb County School System. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Educational Theory and Practice, an M.Ed. in Social Studies Education, and dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and German, all obtained from the University of Georgia.
