Joshua Haworth

Joshua Haworth serves as an Assistant Professor at Oakland University since 2019, focusing on Biomechanics and Clinical Biomechanics. Previous academic appointments include Assistant Professor at Whittier College from 2016 to 2019, where Joshua taught courses on Biomechanics, Research Methods, and a unique class on subjectivity and eye tracking. Research interests revolve around the complex development of vision and motor control processes and their effects on cognitive and social well-being. Prior to academic roles, Joshua completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, concentrating on vision and vestibular coordination during space flight and developed software for enhancing social cognition. Education includes a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and an MS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Miami University.
