Ryan Real

Ryan Real has extensive experience in communications, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Institutional and Operational Communications at Clemson University since August 2015, where oversight includes the daily operations of communication channels for faculty and staff. Previously, Ryan held the position of Director of Communications for Clemson Computing and Information Technology, successfully expanding a one-person operation into a managed team. Other roles include Social Media Manager for the SC Conference Series, Assistant Sports Information Director at Presbyterian College, and various athletic communication positions at Loyola University Maryland, Newberry College, and Ohio University. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Clemson University.
