Russell Jones

Russell Jones has a diverse work experience in software development and IT consulting. Russell is currently working at Clenergy EV as a Senior Software Developer/Tead Lead, where they focus on developing SaaS features to reduce the global carbon footprint. Prior to this, Jones worked at X4 Software, where they developed financial arbitrage software solutions. Russell also worked at Advanced as a Software Developer, specializing in accounting and ERP software. Additionally, Jones has experience as a Full Stack Application Developer at Hudman Limited and as an IT Consultant and Trainer at RJ Training. Russell began their career as a Lecturer in Computer Science & Mathematics at the University of South Wales. Throughout their career, Jones has utilized various techniques such as Agile, Kanban, TDD, and REST, and has worked with technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Ruby, and SQL.

Russell Jones has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Computing from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they received an HNC equivalent in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of South Wales from 1998 to 1999. In 1996-1997, they also obtained Undergraduate institutional Credit (60) in Mathematics and Computer Science from The Open University. In 2015, they obtained the certification of Prince2 Registered Practitioner from APMG.
