Mike Claus

Director, Systems and Software Development at Clerio Vision

Mike Claus has over thirty years of experience in the medical device industry. Mike began their career in 1980 as a Manager of Software Development at Becton Dickinson, where they designed and developed software systems used in a variety of diagnostic instrument systems. In 1990, they moved to Technicon Instruments as a Manager of Software Development, and then to Bayer Diagnostics as a Director of Software Development. From 1997 to 1999, Mike held positions at Wandel & Goltermann and Broadband Technologies as a Director of Quality Systems and Manager of Development Systems, respectively. In 1999, they became Manager of Development Systems at Pliant Systems, where they directed the development of a suite of automated test tools and managed system test activity. In 2002, Mike moved to Allergan as a Manager of R&D IS and Abbott Medical Optics as a Director of R&D. Finally, in 2016, they became Director of Systems and Software Development at Clerio Vision, Inc.

Mike Claus attended Mountain Lakes High School, followed by Pace University where they earned a BS in Computer Science and General Studies. Mike then attended the University of South Florida, where they earned a BA in Soviet Studies.
