Oliver Baxter

Oliver Baxter has over 16 years of work experience. Oliver started their career in 2005 as a Placement Student with the Royal Air Force, where they conducted research and developed new fitness assessment methods. In 2006, they became a Gym Manager at BodyZone Fitness, a role they held until 2013. In the same year, they briefly worked as a Technical Field Engineer at Etherlive Limited. From 2013 to 2022, Oliver worked at glh Hotels in various technology-related roles, including Technology Delivery Manager and Technology Project Manager. Currently, they are the Head of IT at Clermont Hotel Group, where they previously served as the Head of IT (Interim).

Oliver Baxter has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science obtained from Northumbria University, where they studied from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they hold a Professional Qualification in Certified Cisco Network Associate from Gateshead College. Apart from their formal education, Oliver has obtained several certifications. These include the ITIL v4 Foundation certification obtained in June 2020 from PeopleCert, the Agile Project Management Foundation & Practitioner certification obtained in December 2015 from QA Ltd, and the Foundation Certificate in Cyber Security obtained in December 2022 from QA Ltd. Oliver has also achieved the Management of Portfolios (MoP) Foundation & Practitioner certification from PeopleCert in June 2022. Finally, Oliver has completed the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundation & Practitioner certification, although the exact month of completion is not provided.
