Phillip Dale

Phillip Dale has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Phillip started their career as a Computer Operator at Sandvik in 1985 before moving on to become a Programmer at the same company in 1986. In 1990, they joined Umeå University as a Unix System Administrator and later became a Research Engineer. Phillip then worked as an IT Manager at Blekinge Institute of Technology from 1993 to 1999.

In 1999, Phillip joined Sonera as a Key Account Manager and later took on roles as a Technical Sales Engineer and Technical Product Manager. Phillip then joined Ementor AB as a Senior Network Consultant in 2003.

Phillip joined Ericsson in 2004 as a Solution Architect for the Service Delivery Platform and later became a Customer Solution Responsible Account Executive and a Portfolio Manager. Phillip also worked as a Service Innovation Program Manager during their time at Ericsson.

From 2011 to 2016, Phillip worked at Ericsson as a Strategic Business Developer- Innovation, where they established relationships with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, startups, and venture capital firms.

Phillip then joined Telenor in 2017 as a Governance Lead, where they served as a business architect and service delivery manager for the company's data center infrastructure. Phillip decreased the operational expenditure (OPEX) lifecycle management costs by approximately 15%.

Currently, Phillip is working at City Network since December 2021 as the Domain Lead for Customer Implementation and Managed Services. Phillip is responsible for leading customer service delivery management and customer engagement for compliant cloud solutions. Phillip also manages the delivery and drives add-on sales for customer accounts, contributing to approximately 50% of the company's invoicing.

Phillip Dale has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on Parallel Computing from Umeå University. Phillip obtained this degree between the years 1988 and 1992. Prior to their Master's degree, from 1968 to 1980, they attended the School of Mary Immaculate (Chapel School) and earned a High School Diploma. In addition to their educational background, Phillip Dale has obtained various certifications in CrossFit, including CrossFit Gymnastics Trainer, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, CrossFit Rowing Trainer, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, and CrossFit Mobility Trainer.
