David Hughes

David Hughes has had a progressive career in the broadcasting industry, starting as a News Clerk at WRAL in 2001. David then moved on to WMAZ-TV as a News Producer from 2002 to 2004. David returned to WRAL as a News Producer from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at WFLA-TV, first as a News Producer and then as an Executive Producer. David then joined WDBJ7 as a News Director from 2016 to 2019. Following that, they served as the Vice President/General Manager at NBC29 WVIR-TV from 2019 to 2021, and at WSAZ from 2021 to 2023.
